First Gathering of Women Hawza Graduates and MuballighahsOn the 8th November 2014, the first gathering of the sisters who have studied in the Women Hawzas like the Jami'at al-Zahra (a) took place at the Hawza Ilmiyya of England, London. This meeting was the first major meeting after some initial meetings in 2011 and 2012. Sixteen graduates from London, Bristol, Luton, Woking, Burnley and Glasgow attended the meeting. The meeting started with recitation of the Qur'an and a welcoming speech by by Sheikh Jafar Najm. Then Shaykh Shomali welcomed hawza graduates and muballighah sisters and thanked them for their activities in Muharram and for attending the meeting. This was followed by a brief explanation of a hadith of Imam Baqir (a.s) about the importance of loving Allah (swt) and loving each other for the sake of Allah (swt). He urged the sisters to work as a team and with maximum unity. Shaykh Shomali provided a brief introduction of the Hawza Ilmiyya of England, itís goals and aims, current number of students and subjects being taught. The meeting continued after zuhrayn congregational prayer. In the afternoon session the sisters expressed their ideas and suggestions for future. It was decided to have such meetings in a more regular way insha Allah.
